You may also pay per lesson. Cash, Check, PayPal is accepted.

Arrival

Plan to arrive a few minutes before your lesson. I'm located in a house across from New Life Church of God. Text/call me (585-415-9607) and I will let you in. Please remove your shoes and leave them on the shoe rack or mat outside the door. Have your hands clean and fingernails cut.

STUDENT CANCELLATION

Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancelled lessons will not be refunded for any reason. Each student will be allowed a maximum of three make-up lessons during the school year if schedules permit. After three make-up lessons, further cancelled lessons will be considered forfeit. This policy is out of consideration to the studio as a whole, to allow all students an equal chance to make up lessons when needed.

Make-up lessons will be scheduled during regular teaching hours as openings become available. Please notify me of absences as far in advance as possible; this will help you and others receive a make-up lesson. Lessons missed without prior notice will not be made up. Scheduled make-up lessons will not be rescheduled for any reason.

Teacher Cancellation

Lessons that I cancel for any reason will be rescheduled or refunded.

Practice

In order to get the most out of lessons and enjoy the feeling of progress, you must commit to daily listening and practice (5 days per week minimum). Please read your practice assignments every week, and don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

Required Materials

Please bring to each lesson your violin, shoulder rest/sponge, practice folder, and all assigned music. Music and other materials may be purchased locally at Resonance Violins. Online resources include Shar Music, Johnson String Instrument, and Sheet Music Plus.
